A Walk On the Beach

This originally started as a simple sketch of Adachi Rei in a white dress (both to dress her in something a little feminine + show off her joints which I enjoy drawing), but I wanted to make it something more. I initially resisted putting her on the beach because of the cliche and because she might not be compatible with water, but I ended up settling with it anyway to keep things simple. I tried to have the cityscape in the background look desolate and ruined, but those details were probably lost during the rendering phase. Not too fussed regardless since this was meant to be fairly quick leading up to a very busy July ahead of me. My main regret was keeping the aspect ratio a square from the doodle phase, but other than that I still like this one.
