Miku's Sweet 16

Happy birthday, Hatsune Miku! This was an extremely ambitious piece I had planned all the way back in May of 2023 in preparation for Miku's 16th anniversary at the end of August! Gave myself plenty of time to work through this one. My goal was to cram as many voicebank mascots as I could to make a crowded piece. It's like a big family get-together! I tried to limit myself to just voicebanks with official mascot designs (so faceless ones like Lola and Leon were cut since I didn't want to rely on fan designs), as well as ones that were specifically for Vocaloid. I made an exception for Teto, Haku, and Neru since those are Miku's girls!

The cake is also packed with some references to Vocaloid songs by some of the most iconic Vocaloid producers ("Rolling Girl" (Wowaka), "World is Mine" (Ryo), "Matryoshka" (Hachi), "The Vampire" (DECO*27).
