trick & treat

traditional ink drawing of len, miku, and rin based on their appearance in the music video for oster project's trick and treat. rin and len are poses symetrically and holding their hands so their arms form a coffin shape. miku is sitting in the middle with a neutral expression. behind miku is a dark hallway. around rin and len are some curtains. the drawing is completely in black and white with dark hatching for shading.

My entry for day 31 of LurkaMargarine's VSynthtober prompt list, the prompt being Halloween. I had planned on doing an ink piece with this composition based on OSTER Project's song "Trick & Treat" before October, so the prompt list was a good opportunity to actually get on that. I had thought about doing this digitally to absolutely objectively nail the symmetry, but I'm glad I took the risk and did it traditionally to preserve the original vision + hatching textures, which cannot be satisfyingly replicated digitally. The symmetry is off in a few places, but not to a degree that makes me dislike the piece.
